How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie is one of my favorite books. From the title is first sounds like it may be advice on how to selfishly advance yourself by little tricks like a firm handshake and walking 10% faster than everyone else. But instead this book is about how to love and care about others, on a professional social and business level. It was first published in 1936 and has sold 15,000,000 copies.
